Sybill Storz receives award for innovation and quality

STUTTGART, Germany: KARL STORZ managing director Dr Sybill Storz has received the 2012 Baden-Württemberg Award for Innovation and Quality. The award was presented at CONTROL 2012 in Stuttgart, a trade fair for quality assurance, where some 25,000 professionals from 88 countries had gathered to learn about the latest innovations from medical companies.

KARL STORZ Endoskope has been participating in the trade fair for more than 20 years. With a history of more than 65 years in medical endoscopy, the company has been active in industrial endoscopy for over 40 years. The family business consistently responds to the specific needs of industrial customers, and KARL STORZ endoscopes and systems have become indispensable in this important market, according to the company. Its future-oriented development is primarily guided by its focus on innovation and quality.

That innovation and quality have been strengths of the company for decades was also demonstrated by the presentation of the award to Dr Storz. The Baden-Württemberg Award for Innovation and Quality honours people and companies in the German state Baden-Württemberg that have implemented modern innovations and outstanding quality management and sustainable practices in their businesses and achieved demonstrable success.
